Registered Veterinary Technician

Christy has been working in veterinary medicine since 2001, though it wasn’t part of her original plan. After graduating from MSU shortly after 9/11, she was looking for a job to pay the bills while pursuing a career in law enforcement. She applied to a veterinary hospital in Highlands Ranch — and never looked back. More than two decades later, she still finds purpose and fulfillment in caring for animals every day.

Her favorite parts of the job are hands-on patient care, meeting animals of all shapes and sizes, and the satisfaction of helping solve the problems they come in with. She’s known for her compassion, her love for animals, and her hard work — and she brings all of that into every appointment.

Outside of work, Christy loves hiking with her two dogs, Bear and Juno. Her biggest passion these days is boxing, which has helped her build discipline, confidence, and mental focus — all qualities that carry over into her work in the hospital, especially when the pressure is on.
