Veterinary Assistant

Kristie has been working in veterinary medicine for 25 years, originally drawn to the field by a desire to help animals. Over time, she’s come to appreciate that veterinary care is just as much about supporting the human-animal bond as it is about treating patients.

She has a strong interest in dental care, surgery, and client education, and she takes pride in helping pet owners navigate difficult decisions with clarity and compassion. Kristie is known for bringing a calm, steady presence to situations that can feel overwhelming, helping both pets and their people feel more at ease.

Clients and coworkers describe her as fun-loving and caring, and her years of experience show in the confidence and reassurance she brings to every interaction.

At home, Kristie has a full and unique crew. She shares her life with three hounds, a jumping spider, and seven freshwater aquariums. Her favorite fish are hillstream loaches, and much of her free time is spent caring for her tanks. When she’s not at the clinic, she also enjoys bowling.
