Sarah Grier, D.V.M.

Veterinarian

Dr. Sarah Grier is the owner and a veterinarian at Indian Peaks Veterinary Hospital. Born and raised in Iowa, she always knew she wanted to work with animals. She earned her DVM from Colorado State University in 1998, then completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Ontario Veterinary College. After 16 years as an emergency vet in San Francisco, she returned to Colorado with her family.

Since returning in 2016, Dr. Grier has been working as a relief veterinarian at small animal and emergency hospitals in the Front Range, and is very happy to have found her new home at Indian Peaks Veterinary Hospital.  Dr. Grier enjoys all aspects of veterinary practice including medicine, surgery, pain management, and (of course) emergency and critical care.  Outside of work, she and her husband Brent are busy raising two kids and their many animals, including two cats, a dog, and 5 ducks.  With any time left over, she enjoys spending time with friends, hiking, running, and enjoying a glass of wine.
