As many of you already know, Governor Jared Polis has issued a new Executive Order (D 2020 009) that states “All voluntary or elective surgeries or procedures, whether medical, dental, or veterinary, are suspended in the State of Colorado until April 14, 2020 at the earliest.” As stated in the order an elective procedure is one “…that can be delayed for a minimum of three months without undue risk to the current or future health of the patients as determined by the guidelines developed by the hospital…”
This order has been put in the place to conserve PPE (Personal Protective Equipment such as masks and sterile gloves) which can be used in human hospitals. If your pet has an elective procedure scheduled with us during this time, we will be in contact with you to discuss rescheduling. We understand this is a difficult and anxiety provoking time for everyone and we appreciate your patience as we all work through this.

For the safety of our staff and you and your family, we have decided to offer curbside only for prescription, food pick-ups, and specimen drop-offs. As for exams with your veterinarian, we are offering curbside appointments, phone consultations, and email consultations with video telecom on the way. We hope you will utilize these options in the event that your pet needs medical attention or just needs a vaccination.
